Central Heating Installation Plymouth

Domestic & Commercial Central Heating Installation in Plymouth

At Redfern Heat Pumps, we carry out Central Heating Installations for both Domestic and Commercial properties in Plymouth, Devon & Cornwall. Whether fitting alongside a Boiler or a Heat Pump Installation, we always use trusted, quality brands to give you longevity, and the best service possible.

The Process of Central Heating Installation

Prior to installing Central Heating, it is imperative to carry out a room heat-loss survey, to comply with Building Regulations. This allows us to calculate the heating load for the property, the output required, and the sizing of radiators and pipework for each room.

Once our Gas Safe Registered Heating Engineers have designed the system to suit your requirements (adhering to the regulations), the heat source, radiators and pipework will be installed. Copper pipework is preferable, due to improved flow rates. We flush the system to remove any debris that might cause cold spots or deterioration of the system, before commissioning the Central Heating and checking that all radiators are performing as expected. Any paperwork is then issued, as seen on the Gas Boiler Installations page.

WHY CHOOSE US?

Future-proof Your Property

At Redfern, we highly recommend that when having a Central Heating Installation in Plymouth, Devon or Cornwall, you consider futureproofing it with a Heat Pump in mind. Boilers are being phased out, and therefore, if having a New Boiler installed now, you should consider the fact that it will no doubt be your last. This will avoid the necessity of altering pipework and/or radiators once Heat Pumps get to the stage of being compulsory.

If fitting a brand-new Central Heating Installation, depending upon whether the pipework is simple or more complicated to run, it should take approximately 2 – 4 days to complete the project. If you require more information, please do not hesitate to contact us, either by completing the contact form, by calling us directly, or by requesting a quote.
